Terms of Service

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are legally binding between you and RJ RisingJoy Pte Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD. By creating an account or using RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD, you agree to these Terms. We may update our Terms from time to time which we will notify you via in-app notification and your continue use after that date signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

1. About Our Service

RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD is a short-form drama streaming platform that lets you watch, discover, and enjoy bite-sized episodic content. Our app integrates with TikTok to bring you seamless content discovery and social features, and we offer both free and premium viewing options.

Our services include:

• Streaming free and premium micro drama episodes
• Membership subscriptions with exclusive content and perks
• Offline downloads and screen-casting features
• Personalized recommendations powered by your viewing history
• TikTok-connected social features (following, sharing, comments)
• In-app purchases such as coins, episode unlocks, and season passes

2. Your Account

2.1 Creating an Account

You can sign up using your email address, phone number, or an authorized third-party account (such as TikTok, Apple, or Google). When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately at info@risingjoycc.com if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 17 must have parental or guardian consent. By using our app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may only maintain one account. You may not transfer, sell, or share your account with others. Violations may result in suspension.

3. TikTok Integration

RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD partners with TikTok to enhance your experience. When you connect your TikTok account:

• We may access your TikTok profile information (name, avatar, follower list) as authorized by you
• Content you save or share may be posted to TikTok in accordance with TikTok's own terms
• TikTok's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service also apply to your interactions within that platform
• We do not control TikTok's data practices so please review TikTok's policies at tiktok.com

You can disconnect your TikTok account from our app at any time in Settings > Linked Accounts.

4. Membership & Subscriptions

4.1 Free & Premium Tiers

We offer both free content (ad-supported) and premium content (subscription-based). A premium membership gives you access to:

• All premium drama series and early-access episodes
• Ad-free viewing
• Offline download capability
• Exclusive member-only content and perks

4.2 Subscription Plans

Paid plans are available on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region. Your selected plan will renew automatically unless you cancel.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

By enabling auto-renewal, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the same billing cycle. You may disable auto-renewal at any time via Settings > Subscription. Changes take effect at your next billing date, not the current cycle.

4.4 Membership Rules

• Membership is for your personal, non-commercial use only
• You may not share your membership access with others
• Premium benefits expire immediately upon downgrade or cancellation

5. Payments & Refunds

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and other methods shown at checkout. All transactions are processed securely by licensed payment processors and we do not store your full card number or CVV.

5.2 When Charges Apply

Payment is charged at the time of purchase. For subscriptions, you'll be charged at the start of each renewal period.

5.3 Refund Policy

Because our content is delivered digitally and made available immediately:

• Virtual goods (coins, episode unlocks) are non-refundable once used
• Subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period

6. Content & Intellectual Property

6.1 What You Can Do

When you use RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Stream available content on your personal device
• Download episodes for offline viewing (Premium members only, within the app)
• Share official clips through our built-in sharing tools

6.2 What You Cannot Do

Unless we give explicit written permission, you may not:

• Record, screenshot, or reproduce any content from the platform
• Download episodes to external storage outside our app
• Remove or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or digital rights management protections
• Use content for commercial purposes, monetized streams, or advertising
• Redistribute or sublicense any content to third parties

6.3 Ownership

All content on RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD including dramas, scripts, artwork, logos, UI design, and music are owned by RJ RisingJoy Pte Ltd or licensed from rights holders. These materials are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any infringement may result in account termination and legal action.

7. User Conduct

We want RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD to be a great experience for everyone. You agree not to:

• Post, share, or transmit harmful, abusive, harassing, or illegal content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with our platform
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access our service
• Engage in fraud, spam, or any activity that harms other users
• Circumvent any geographical restrictions or access controls

Violations may result in a warning, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban at our discretion and without prior notice for serious breaches.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our app may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., TikTok, payment processors, analytics tools). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third party. Use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to maintain reliable service, we make no warranties express or implied regarding:

• Uninterrupted or error-free access
• Fitness of the service for any particular purpose
• The accuracy or completeness of any content

We are not liable for service disruptions caused by internet outages, force majeure events, third-party failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of RJ RISINGJOY PTE. LTD is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You materially breach these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• Continued operation poses a risk to other users or our platform

Upon termination, your license to use the service ends. Unused paid content or coins are forfeited unless required otherwise by applicable law.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in the courts of Singapore, which will have exclusive jurisdiction.
